JOURNEYMAN HEAVY DUTY (OFF ROAD) MECHANICS - UNDERGROUND MINING EQUIPMENT - IMMEDIATE START

The Position:
You will primarily be working on underground mining equipment carrying out repairs, refurbishments and rebuilds. The positions are based at our Leduc Facility.

This equipment includes but is not limited to:
Scooptrams,
Underground Haul Trucks,
Underground Utility Vehicles,
Scissorlifts
Underground Drilling Equipment.

Experience:
• Underground Mining Mechanical: 3 years (preferred)

Qualifications:
• Journeyman Certificate (Red Seal) Heavy Equipment Technician- Off Road

Requirements

• Journeyman Off Road Certificate
• 3 years experience with Off Road equipment & underground mining equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• Driver’s abstract
• Drug & alcohol test
• Shift rotations: Mon-Fri 6.00am to 4.30pm and possible weekend work as required.
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Salary: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

JOURNEYMAN HEAVY DUTY (OFF ROAD) MECHANICS

Gladiator Equipment Inc. is now accepting resumes for Heavy Duty, Off Road Certified Technicians for work on various sites.

        Qualifications:

  • Journeyman Certificate (Red Seal) Heavy Equipment Technician- Off Road
  • Clean driver’s abstract and maintain a clean driving record.

 

Requirements
  • Experience & Skills
    • HET with Excavator, Haul Truck (CAT) Dozers, Front End Loaders, Graders experience.
    • 4 years industry experience.
    • You are able to perform your role without direct supervision.
    • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot; fuel, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
    • Able to perform complete repair and overhaul functions.
    • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
    • Have a positive attitude to safety compliance and creating a safe work environment.
    • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

     

    Accommodations & Schedules:

    • Some positions include camp depending on what site.
    • Shift schedule dependent on site.
